Terms and conditions

1. Pricing information:
All prices include V.A.T. at the current UK rate (if applicable). Delivery charges vary by the size, value and weight of the consignment and will be displayed during checkout.

2. Order confirmation:
We will confirm your order either by e-mail or by telephone. In respect of orders placed from this online shop, such orders shall be mere offers to purchase and shall not be accepted or binding upon AMWmotorsport until confirmed or acknowledged in writing by AMWmotorsport by means of invoice or statement confirming acceptance of your order or by despatch of goods to you. Order acknowledgement sent by AMWmotorsport subsequent to the order and payment shall not amount to confirmation of order. AMWmotorsport reserve the right to refuse any offer to purchase prior to written confirmation or despatch, where goods ordered become unavailable, the price of goods varies or an error is made by the AMWmotorsport in the price, description or for some other reason, whereupon a full refund of your payment will be made to you, usually in the method you made payment to AMWmotorsport.

3. Payment:
We accept all card payments via PayPal secure payment option, bank transfers or cash.

4. Delivery of goods:
We will endeavour to deliver your order to you within 5 working days (this does not include Saturday/Sunday), providing the goods are in stock (Unless a longer delivery period is stated on the specific product page, such as products that are made to order). If we are not able to meet this deadline, we will contact you within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange an alternative delivery date. If we are unable to deliver your order within a 30 period (unless the product page states otherwise) we will notify you in writing usually via email. Please note that deliveries to N.Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland can take longer than 3-5 days to deliver – Please ask if express delivery is required but note that we will not refund the express delivery charge if goods are subsequently returned.

5. Returns/Refund policy:
Please note that you do have the right to return a product for refund within the first 7 days following delivery. Special order items are custom made to your specification and for this reason are exempt from the 7 day cancellation period. We regret that we will not be able to accept these goods back for credit or exchange.

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the original purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee. We request that you return the goods to us in original condition with original packaging. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please note that any goods returned more than 28 days after the original delivery date will not be refunded unless we received notification of cancellation within the 7 day period. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.

If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:
(a) Contact us via email or telephone.
(b) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, AMWmotorsport, Office 26, 12 Cross Street, Wakefield, WF1 3BW. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.
(c) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase.
Please note that we expect you to return the goods to us in original condition.

6. Goods damaged in transit:
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Our couriers allow us up to 48 hours from the time of delivery to report transit damage. If goods have been damaged in transit we will make arrangements to replace the goods once the courier has acknowledged the claim for transit damage. We also request that you keep the goods and any packaging in case the courier needs to inspect the delivery as part of the transit insurance claim.

7. Returns under warranty:
Most products carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Most products carry a 12 month minimum warranty, please ask on your order what the warranty will be. If an item develops a fault within the warranty period we will be happy to repair or replaced the item, however, you will be responsible for any return costs incurred. A replacement item will be sent out at our cost once the fault has been verified and confirmed and the warranty claim acknowledge by the manufacturer. Please note that this process can sometimes take several days. Your legal rights are not affected.

8. Product information and product images:
Although we endeavour to provide you with the latest product information and to ensure that product images are identical to the items supplied, we cannot always guarantee that this will be the case. Product colours and styles can differ slightly from the published images. Some images are generic, and are not those for the particular product or vehicle listed.

 9. Confidentiality of personal details:
We respect your privacy and will only use the personal information that you supply us when using our website, to ensure that your orders are processed effectively and our service meets your requirements. All customer details are held securely. Our policy is to never share our customer details with other companies wishing to use such information for their own marketing purposes. We only disclose name and address information to third party carriers to enable the successful delivery of your goods.

All products are supplied and are required to be fitted by a suitably qualified person, we will not take responsibility for any damage to parts, or vehicles, due to incorrect fitting. Majority of items carry a minimum one year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase and we are happy to replace or repair faulty products if you experience any problems during the warranty period. If you choose to have any product professionally installed we will not be held responsible for any costs involved in installing or removing the product from your vehicle during or after the warranty period.
If you are not happy with this policy or any of the above policies please do not purchase.
